On our trip away recently to visit relatives near Cirencester a delightful surprise was planned with the meeting of GOY members Carole ( Pansypotter ) & Sandra ( Bloomer ) at a hotel with their husbands Harry & Russel , the high light of our trip I might add ,thanks for all your help in keeping the secret Sandra :o) it was a very special evening .
We then moved on to Warwick where we were able to take a quick walk round Jephson Gardens in Royal Leamington Spa , we were very impressed by the wonderful sculptures carved from the dead trees mostly used as seating ,I thought you might like to see them ,it was getting dark we were only able to touched the surface and have promised ourselves more time on a future visit …

And last of all a seat for gnomes …

We would have loved to spend more time there looking round the rest of the garden ,next time maybe ….

Lovely Sculptures Amy,even the Gnome looks real ! It reminds me of someone ,but can't think who ! lol..We called in at Leamington Spa last year,on the way home from our last trip to the Cotswolds..Are these gardens just over the bridge?,as we called in what I think was a Pump room /museum building for a coffee..our coach was parked up nearby..We would love to have had time to visit them..it looks to be a lovely place ..

I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the sculptures ,I knew you would appreciate them Hywel , I can't think who the gnome reminds you off Sandra ,It looked so real I even brought it home with me Lol... I don't remember seeing a bridge Sandra but standing in the gardens I could see a building with the words pump rooms on the other side of the road so I guess it must have been somewhere nearby ... we didn't have time to go there either ., !

Thanks Gee , the surprise meeting was brilliant ,It was just fortunate that we happened to be in the same area and Sandra was good enough to let me know where they were staying ... the gnome has settled well into ( house ) life and is very comfortable Lol...

I'm sure this little gnome would have liked the tipple Sandra Lol Thanks TT I'm glad you liked it :o) You spotted the foot Sgram I deliberately put that photo on hoping to show the size of the mouse ....
It was a beautiful park / garden Carole its a pity we didn't have more time I could see a glass house in the distance , that gnome could make himself at home anywhere Carole give him a cushion he would have been well away Lol ...

21 Nov, 2014

Lots of cushions free at our house for the both of you anytime ;0))

Thanks Carole That's nice of you :o) Lincs the gnome is proving to be very useful he even had the hoover out this morning Lol... It was fabulous Janey just what you need at this time of the year ,that flame sculpture would fit perfectly into your garden I can see you sitting in your workshop with tools surrounding you with a large log of wood , what you need is a huge pencil sharpener Lol ... x Tony looked too comfy didn't he !
