We’ve been on a cruise!!!!…..had a wonderful time and saw some lovely places…El Alamein….the Commonwealth Cemetery……a beautiful, well kept area…..full of sadness but very tranquil…

I've been watching out for your blog on your cruise,Louise,and so glad you had a great time...I bet you will go again sometime. :o)I bet that was an emotional place to see,..I love the lone little flower..lovely pics..how's the cold ? hope you are feeling better now..

Thank you for your comments all!....The cold is much improved, but the cold sore is 'orrible!....I will post more pics when I have looked at them. Its been a bit hectic with catching up potting on dahlia cuttings; planting up new ones as they arrive....along with other plants......seed sowing.....weeding....etc.,....etc., plus the house being upside down with plasterers and decorators next week......I will need another holiday....and soon....lol...:-))

Pleased you had a lovely holiday ... the photos of the headstones brought a tear to my eye as my dear old Grandad was in the Army in El Alamein ... dreadful times for him. On a happier note ... he did live to be 100 ! Hope you manage to catch up at home ... sounds like you're a very busy lady! : o )

Thanks Shirley T........100 is not a bad innings :-))))....am just about catching up.....Son N o2 is bringing his "latest" to see us tomorrow......wonder if I have time to do my nails!!....she will not have to mind my scabby nose....lol..
