Just thought i’d put the last few photo’s on, from our trip to the gardens. It was such a nice day, can’t wait to go again.
I’ve played about with one or two of the pics as an experiment for possibly some “modernish” artwork for a craft fair later in the year. Appreciate your comments xx

loved this tree bark, looks like an elephants leg….

elephants eye…..maybe….or not….

this chap wasn’t happy, probably because the house was closed…….

front of house….

the waterfall….lovely..

flaking red tree bark… before….

…and after……

lovely texture to this tree trunk…. before…

…after….

a big grassy thing….before…

…and after….

a very rough tree trunk… before….

last but not least…..after..

Great transformations, I agree about the elephants leg but thought the second picture was a birds eye under its wing perhaps a swan? I wonder how the waterfall pic would transform?

Nah, my dodgy eyesight! (double vision-NOT caused by Black Russians!)

Yes Marie the red bark one made my eyes go a bit funny too but it was a brilliant effect I loved it, my favourite tho' was the last one, the very rough tree trunk, that was like looking at it through the bottom of a glass. (No Dan not a beer glass)

No Bob, you're quite right....NOT a beer glass......a VODDIE glass:0)~~

How are you mate?

Good thanks Dan 'cept I got a splinter in me finger today and I had to have it bandaged and then put in a sling, then 'she who must be obeyed' came home and took it out and sent me back to re-build the gates 'coz she did'nt like them.
You OK?

What a bunch of wusses!

Yeh cool thanks.

It never ceases to amaze me how these women expect us to just put up with the pain.....they break a nail and all hell breaks loose.......

Hope your injury is not going to hold you up in any way and my sympathy is with you all the way friend.

Women......Puh!

A little thing!!! I'll have you know Ali that splinter was 3mm long .... at least anyway Gill said it was a man splinter,( I thought it was made of wood myself,) and Gill had to dig for it. Oh sorry Dan did I make you feel a bit queasy there, did'nt mean to go into such gory detail. But it's a lot better today just a tiny hole where it was and that should heal in about a week or two providing I rest it and don't use it too much. :o))))

Unbelievable! You'll NEVER last in Scotland, Bob, you're too much of a soft southerner! Need to toughen up a bit boy!
:~)D

21 Sep, 2009

about a tenth of an inch?? !!!

21 Sep, 2009

is that all, lmao now.... can't believe all the fuss, i thought it would be at least the size of .............a pencil or something lol !!!

21 Sep, 2009

LMAO! Men are just total wusses! Thats all there is to it!!

21 Sep, 2009

I'm home from work now Marie and you can quit your jibber-jabber please.

Bob has had a serious injury and could well do without both you and my missus making him feel bad about it. Splinters are serious things and need attention.

Hope you make a swift recovery Bob my boy and are back to full health very soon......see girls, it costs nothing and is sooooeasy to be nice to others!

Women.....no sympathy at all....Puh!

21 Sep, 2009

Puh to you too Dan! Am I crying cos I cut my hands yesterday? NO!
I just put a plaster on & get on with it!

21 Sep, 2009

Thick skinned I guess....!!

21 Sep, 2009

No, I'm just not a wuss!

21 Sep, 2009

Puh women just no compassion at all, Thanks for the concern Dan I have put my hands up this afternoon to rest them and I have perfected using the T.V. remote with my big toe, I did try to use my nose but it was too big ..... the T.V. remote I meant not my nose :o))

21 Sep, 2009

Aye! Sure! We have compassion, just not misplaced sympathy! :~)D
