hi, im in tallaght, iv tried them places. i need de ones ye buy bedding plants in.. iv sowed lots of plants, i now need to seperate them. i see u like gardening too. its good to see someone else like minded as myself.
~do you have branches of Wilkinsons? or Wyevale?they have them ~saw them today!
i never heard of them places, do u live in dublin. ye no de ones i mean yeah? tink ye can fit 6 plants in them
~no I live in Wales~but yes these were for different amounts of plants~ I bought some which fitted into a standard tray with nine compartments.
I 've bought them aswell from Wilkinsons. I should think there would be places in Dublin where you can get them such as DIY stores etc.
ye der de ones i looking for. cant get them here, its my first time to ever grow anything, cant believe they are seedlings now, its so exciting watching them grow. do u grow yr own stuff
last year i made hanging baskets it cost so much for de plants, i decided to grow them myself, i just hope i can get de trays now, nice to meet use all. only seen this site tonight, its good.
Adrienne~welcome to GOY!
I haven't grown seeds this last year but I am planning to get some flower seeds in as soon as possible~have you tried putting 'plastic seed tray' in Google and checking what comes up?
It is great when you see a whopping big plant and know you grew it yourself from a seed.
Welcome to GOY. I hope you enjoy it. I would be interested to see what seeds you sew. I'm going to sew some this year too. I haven't had much success lately after moving but I hope for better things this year. Maybe we'll have better weather too.
~Would be nice Hywel~fingers crossed!
i got mine in home focus in fonthill, liffey valley, have you tried there?
Welcome to GoY Adevereux09.

Hi Adrienne - Welcome to GOY - we are all gardening mad on here! I'm in England and have saved the trays that any bedding plants come in to grow plants on. I know you won't have any yet, but it's worth doing that for the future.
In the meantime, if you can't track down any, why not use ordinary deep seed trays and space your 'babies' out in those? I do that if I run out of the plastic ones. They stay there until they've been hardened off and I plant them out from there.
If you are unable to get any locally you may be able to use cartons that you have bought yoghurt etc in~make sure you use a needle or something to prick holes in so that nothing becomes water logged!
ah yas r all very good, il put de pics of de seedlings on here wen i no how too.. im really delighted they have grown, iv got peas n there standing tall lol dont no wat i gona do with them.. were abouts in liffy valley r they sold irish? il go down there tanx
