Please dont show anymore !!!, we are off to France soon , but I now want to go back to Ireland , I very nearly got blown off those cliffs , it,s quite scary

Thanks for the name. It's a variety that an old lady gave to my mother from her garden way back in the 1950s so it must be very old.

The ferrets can be very learnt very mischievous but they quickly learnt not to go into the plant pots. However, saying that they do still sometimes have a rumage round and flatten a few plants. The worst one is Daisy, the only female I have. She is always pinching fruit from my daughters strawberry plant. We don't mind though because they give us so much pleasure and fun.

Oh YES! We loved it there - thanks for the memories. There was a music group singing and playing by the cliffs. Wonderful!

We thought that Galway town had been spoilt by all the new development. Go further along th coast, and its WOW though, Irish, isn't it!

Brings back memories for me as well , we had a couple of wonderful holidays there , and I have since found out that my family proberly originaly came from mayo , so i,m planning a trip for another year .

Spritzhenry, I think of them as dreadful weeds. I was going to leave them behind when I moved but a few came as "stowaways" in pots with other plants. This looks nicer than it actally is. Would you like me to send you some ? Oh, and have you seen the photo of the Erigerons ? They're coming along well : )
