Thanks PansyP, they are really stunning plants in the right climate. They would virtually flower all year if they were deadheaded regularly which would have been the devil's own job!!

ps youv'e done a great job of your garden, i know when i first started gardening i was Terrified haha, Soooo many mistakes,haha

LOL now there is a thought..........tho a fern did follow me home from the local woods down the road earlier this spring.... Well it was crowded with all the others and needed room to grow....and boy is it growing now!!

I never go anywhere without my baggies......a girl must be perpared for anything!

We've all had the same problems with the weather this year.

Please tell me about the paving under the central group of pots with the post.

Is it a semi circle of cut pavings, of the same type you have on your main patio areas? Thanks.

That really does work then . we had a pond before we moved here and the Heron took the lot . We went to buy some more and put the poly bag on the water floating as you do before letting them out , we went inside and the dog that we had at the time obviously thought they needed rescuing because when we looked out of the window he had the bag on the lawn and was tearing it open .lol
