I have a question for you all. When you say Blackbirds, specifically what species is this, in the Eastern US we have about 4 different types of blackbirds plus a couple others out west, and we also have the Starlings which are horrible bullies and pests. I'm curious if this is a similar species to our Red-winged Blackbird.

We had a Passion Flower some years ago. It took off like a rocket. We had to cut it down eventually because it was smothering a rambling rose and a clematis. It persisted for ages. Very pretty but far too dominant.

wow, you've got so many butterflies. I can only find the two I have pics of, the monarch, and the small white one (which is really a moth)

Beautiful butterfly, but it's caterpillar is one of the ugliest.

Lovely photograph. I've only seen three white ones this year - cabbage white? There simply hasn't been enough sunshine.

Thank you, I thought it might be a swallowtail, from the two "tails" it had. Though, I couldn't really tell.

Argh - the dreaded Canada goose.I love wildlife but these birds bring back some painful memories!
