I lost my internet access at home for over 3 weeks, Janette, just got it back last week. It is a horrible feeling, isn't it? I almost contemplated verbal assault on people on so-called helplines, and near-suicide (well, maybe not that bad), but at least I got a lot done in the garden. Will never be able to catch up with everything I missed, however.

Welcome to GOY, Spritz you are so right green knees, and black finger nails, plus stiff back, when i've been kneeling it takes ages to straighten back up, we must really enjoy gardening to put up with it.

Looks as if you'd had professional landscapers in. What a fantastic job you've done on this. I bet you're looking forward to the real fun bit now - the planting.

The thing with bonsai is ...it's almost anti gardening...you put it out in the weather and that's it...I think it's cheating to water them, isn't it?

Yes, a communal approach may work - form a Neighbourhood Watch committee. We have groups here, who liase with residents and the police. I think it works. Hope you find a way, also that these thugs get caught - soon. Best Wishes.
