Good to be back!!

Hi everyone~ First off, thanks for the kind remarks on my photos!!
It has been a while since I have had the time to get on here and enjoy the all the wonderful pics, news and blogs. But it feels good to be back, it will take me days to go through all the amazing and fun pictures that have been posted since I was on last.
I have been completely consumed since last May when I gave birth to our twin boys Sam & Jack. Simply the loves of my life! So most of my picture taking has been (understandably) focused in them. But now with spring approching and my finally getting a bit more on top of things, I am hoping to get lots more flower and garden pictures taken this year.
I have really missed all you wonderful GOY people!!!

Cheers~ Shannon

Thanks guys!! I do love showing them to people (typical mom) It took me till I was 46 to finally have them, but so worth the wait. It has changed my life in a way I never drempt possable~ And yes!!!! They will definitly learn to pull weeds as soon as they can walk~ : D

when my two were about four. they helped me weed the veg plot and then plant some veg plants. a few days later while my eyes were off them for a moment they decided to weed the same spot again. only there were no weeds and after theyed finished no veg plants either....lol

he he...You gotta love'em though!! When I was pregnant my husband said that all the borders were looking bad. Well I couldn't get out because I was pregnant with the twins and not feeling very well at the time, so he thought he would go out and help me. He went around and pulled up every plant that wasn't a bush by the roots and threw them in the bin. When he told me he had done some "weeding" and it now looked great! I nervously went out to check, and when I saw what he had done, I just burst into tears!! He just said that they all looked like weeds to him. : ( This is the same man who when outback burning, burnt my two teak deck loungers because he said "the cushions were old". Heavy sigh~

Oh well~ You gotta love'em........don't you?

Oh Shannon, poor you. My husband would be the same way. Got to keep an eye on him while out in the garden. I can't let him out with pruners or a saw either. He'd have every tree down to a stump in no time. LOL.....yes, you have to love them....they are trying to help in their poor "manish" way!! :o( (Apologies to all the men....I know I'll get some comments......Hee hee hee)

congratulations on the happy twins. teach them not to bring you name labels. my youngest did so i could read the names to her. handfuls at a time. still not managed to relocate them all and that was 7 years ago. couldnt stay cross with her for long. she still asks if she can pick flowers by describing them first. I taught both girls to show me first what she wanted to pick/taste. its kept them safe [and my flowers too].

Belated congratulations on your lovely twin boys. I had twin girls over 40 years ago, just don't know where the time has gone! Have fun.

How very traditional and so very sweet. Love the little red cheeks, so very ....English! My daughter when she was young had those cute red cheeks that so many Brits have. Her daddy is British. She hated them at the time but was so cute!!!

Hi Shannon,

You are in for loads of fun with twins and gardening - Gorgeous boys by the way give them a year or two and we will have to get them on a joint date with my girlies (4 years isnt too geat an age gap!)

Just watch out when they get out in the garden - for some reason worms seem to be a naturally attractive food source for twins - eughh
