Norwich is the same rain and gales

Yuck....that reminds me of when I lived down in Vancouver. Rain, rain and more rain. I feel for you over there. :o(
We haven't had much rain at all over the past few weeks. It's been very dry. However, tonight we have some precipitation........but its in the form of snow!! Double Yuck!!

Its been very mild but wet and windy here - with the cat shaking his feet as he walks across the wet grass.

Its been canny here today (Newcastle) the garden does look bedraggled and now its chucking it down.

Ditto in Notts Weeding. No gardening, no pottering and no fun :~((
Thank heavens for GoY!

No gardening today so I started on this winter's project - more family tree research

The view from your window looks about like mine , awash with rain. absolutly persisting down . Hey ho soon be spring.

Yes as I type the rain is lashing against the window, but I am using the time to go through some of the amazing gardens by all the GOY members and noting a few of the plants that I would like, did I say a few wellll, how longs a piece of string.

Like I'm gonna remember to PM you, Weeding, I have days where I can't remember me own name...

On question - cuttings - advice

I love the dawn especialy when it's misty. It's the best time of day I think.
I have a pan like that aswell... lol and the flames were about a foot high :D

There is a lovely quote about cuttings and rooting. "It is a race between rooting and rotting!"

Agree with Owdboggy, impatient twittus!

Most cuttings done in a pot like that will take about 6 weeks to form roots. Be patient.

Good idea to have your son take pictures of the dawn so you can see it when you wake up later! I've burned so many (ok, all) of my pans that I've started getting some plug ins with timers & auto shut off...or crock pots. The raw food movement is also an option!

i'm lucky--pc in kitchen!

OOPS another one burns the pan, there are loads of us done it while on GOY, love the photos.
