Dawn and the burnt saucepan

Dawn and the burnt saucepan

Posted on 15 Oct, 2009 19 comments

I’ve just enjoyed yet another browse on GOY. Sue in Birmingham inspired me with a dawn picture so here are some from us too. It’s been a brain puzzle trying to get them in the right order as they were taken. Two are by my son who shinned up the apple tree, and by the look of it also stood on the patio table for extra artistic effect. By that time I was back in bed with my cuppa.

a wee note of caution: spending a long time on GOY does sometimes ruin the vegetable stock.

Great blog, lovely pics. I must admit when I first looked at this blog, I thought it was going to be about someone called Dawn! I particularly liked the saucepan - and that reminds me, I was supposed to make stock this evening...

Good idea to have your son take pictures of the dawn so you can see it when you wake up later! I've burned so many (ok, all) of my pans that I've started getting some plug ins with timers & auto shut off...or crock pots. The raw food movement is also an option!
