turnips!

this smart chap weighed 350g and we have had larger

we are enjoying them so much, especially il husbando. Thanks to anyone who crossed their fingers for me back in the Spring during a brief panic about the raised lumps on their leaves. It was all perfectly normal… next year i hope more peops on here might grow “milan purple top”? They are great.

I’ve also trimmed a small section of our massive hedge at the weekend. You can see the difference, well, sort of. It’s a bit disheartening cos there’s just so much of it. : (

Wow what a whopper, I never seem to have much luck with turnips or swede, possibly because Mrs. Digs doen't like them ?
