OK, these are disgusting! I do not have these in my garden (possibly just to cold!), however, If I had, I think my neighbors would hear me scream each time I found one. YUK

I love the rock in your yard! What a beautiful walk. The cat is extremely cute as well. :-)

Very pretty. I love any variegated plants with pink! I grow a Japonica ornamental corn every year that has these colours through the entire stalk.

I have never seen a purple pepper, how cool! The stalk looks so thick and healthy, good work!

I love Astilbe. I planted an extra 14 this year! Am waiting for them to grow.

Most of it grows back. I have perennials in all of my beds, and fill in spaces with annuals that I either start indoors, or purchase.

Hi Blooms! Here in Manitoba, and we have had a very cold Spring so far. My plants are way behind in growing, then what they were last year. I know it has been bad for you in BC, too. But your gardens look so great!

LOL to the vegetable suggestion and the vows! Congratulations Peter! As for a year flying by, my husband and I have been together for 19 years this September, and we still feel like teenagers! It all goes by too fast.

You have listed very valid reasons to finish this endeavor! When you are feeling overwhelmed, or questioning why you are taking this on, read that list back to yourself. Learning is always a good thing, good luck!

Because there is a b-u-n-n-y to her left, which is why her ear is turned. I commanded her to leave it, and to stay. Being the stoic dog she is, she will give me that attitude look, LOL!

Lori, I am ready to off myself. Looking through my gardening journal last night, was very depressing. Last year at this time so many plants were up and in bloom. I'm still waiting for my tulips to flower! LOL!
