We are now pitched up with a stunning room with a view.
Overlooking Loch Ken.

Sunny and dry.

Ahhh...Ken Bruce mentioned Loch Ken today. He said it was where his family were hoping to throw him in one day! ;) i'd never heard of it before. Enjoy...hope you don't get blown a gale here.

Its a lovely sunny evening here just watching from Ruby canoes going past.
Yes heard Ken Bruce whilst driving down and saw a Hillman imp on the road while we were driving at 11.30

And there 's two on site

My first car was a red Hillman Imp.

Wished kept her .

She could have joined there rally.

I've never heard of Loch Ken either! Whereabouts in Scotland is it?

Little sun to speak of here today most of the day has been April showers, in which my wife & I got caught a couple of times! Strong North-Westerly winds as well making for a cold day.

Tomorrow is forecast to be even colder & windier with possibly winterer showers thrown in - just for good measure!

Thanks for that, Kath. :-))

Yesterday night we had some snow here! Must have been around 9pm. It had stopped by the time we went to bed around 11pm. The "snow" was more like rain than snow. This morning when we got up - to some glorious sunshine! - we could see frost, snow & icy puddles from our kitchen window.

Earlier during the evening, possibly around 6pm, it must have rained very heavily here as when we returned from visiting our gkids everything looked soggy & there were lots of big puddles.

When we left our daughter's house it was beginning to spit & then we had a very light shower. That only lasted 5 minutes so we were very surprised to see how much rain had fallen here!.
