New project upcycle metal tall pots

By Scotkat

Going to get paint and repaint them so they look like new pots .

And not put them to landfill.

One I am hoing to fill with strawberrie plants.

The other kitchen herbs or carrots .

Been on long walk and waiting to hang laundry out

Then go and potter in Greenhouse.

This is one of the metal pot plan to upstyle with metal green paint.

And this is the pot is dumped in badly needs tidied but its far to cold. The before photo.

Got the metal paint have chosen the colour Wild Thyme. The pots are now drying before I paint them.

love how my pots have turned out look like new again.

Sounds like a great idea and also a great plan for the day!

Good idea, I hate to throw things away Kath, another good day here as well, sunshine both sides of the hedges, bit chilly but nothing a jacket can't fix....

Cant get the soil out of the pot as its frozen solid.

Also got 2 Small grey stone pots that I would like to paint to with stone paint to freshen them up instead of dull grey.

Another thing would like to use china tea cups as bird feeders.

Sounds like a good project, I wonder if you have had a warmer day today. Been lovely here and I spent a good couple of hours digging over the beds (one was far to soggy to do much though) and scrubbed some stepping stones. It was good to be in the garden again :)

Thankyou Scotsgran

Not been planted up yet as had and still have a very sore shoulder.

But been looking and decided would like to get a witch hazel to contain in one of these pots and underplanted with dwarf spring bulbs.

It may wrong to grow one in a pot but if its kept it may look like a bonsai .

I have 2 kojo no mai in pots been in them for yrs and look great .
