Move from Chatsworth today

By Scotkat

We have had a wonderful time.
For flora in colour would say Spring or Summer would be best .

But still wonderful to see and the house was amazing.

Today we move to Bakewell.

Ah the memories. I went to Lady Manners school in Bakewell, and was Confirmed in the church. I lived down the road in the village of Youlgreave (or as some would say Youlgrave) and was in the church choir there. I also used to have a lot to do with the Well Dressings.
But I'm not that keen on the 'real' Bakewell pud!

It's all become a bit too 'touristy' for me now though.

The Virgin and the Gypsy' was filmed in Youlgreave in 1970 starring Franco Nero.
