Our Ruby wedding trip weekend

By Scotkat

We have had a wonderful weekend biking on Edinburgh paths even biked into Princess street very close to the trams.

Saturday was very hot when biking managed to eat outdoors with a BQ.

Sunday was much colder but we still biked in Morning then headed into the City at night as we had booked a table for dinner.

Surprise cake was hidden in van how it got there I still dont know:)

A retro van gift from our neighbour to be opened on Sunday and it had Ruby on it and our number plate .

Our son gave us a ruby wedding camelia .

We came across this bed of flowers in Edinburgh

Did the 'bed' work? Did it change colour?
Beautiful cake and the camellia is a much nicer present for memories as it will grow and you will always think of that day when you look at it.

Have a good weekend. S-i-l is bringing daughter and grandson down this w/e. They are staying for a fortnight while he returns home to work on the house, parts of which they are gradually refurbishing. We are looking forward to it.

It's not too bad here today, although it's cloudy.
