By Scotkat

Infact its been a quick year .

Not long at all a mild winter.

Its been great got lots of walking done and biking started again.

Fuchsias are now out into Greenhouse and growing great .

Did loose my cuttings I took at the back end of the year so ready to take tip cuttings again.

And loving Spring in the garden specaily mŷ cream beauty crocus theŷ are in clumps all over the garden .

For next Spring in Autumn I shall fill pots with cream beauty crocus and pots of muscari and white crocus.

I dont find our winter long .And maybe because I have my sittootery with plants till thry are ready to go in Greenhouse and can get up and go excersise in any weather with long walks.

Just feel great away to get laundry on and go out on my bike.Got a goal to try to bike 20 or more miles every day.

I wish I had your ambition, and energy! 20 miles a day!

When I was younger, I ran between 10 and 14 miles a day, 5 days a week. Now after a back injury 4 years ago the most I can handle is 7, then excruciating pain sets in. But I'm happy enough to do that.

Yup, we are definitely living on different planets Kath! My winter has seemed endless with frost after frost, gales and fog. I think I might move to your end of the county..but you know what would would turn good at the coast! :)

Hi Kath, it's been a 'miserable' winter here, we have had some sunny days, but they've been very cold, and when it's not been as cold, it's been raining,{or snowing, not very often though, thank goodness}, the garden is still too wet to do anything, no chance of cutting the grass, or planting out the forty odd new plants, that I have still got to find room for, I may have to make 1 or 2 new beds for them, but the weather will hopefully start improving soon, Derek.

No serious winter weather here this year, just grey, grey, grey. Not very inspiring. It's beautiful today, though, at the moment. Life definitely perks up when the sun is shining! 🌞

Melchie we really have had a fantastic winter lots of sun.

Had wind which is acceptable you need cold to fight germs.

You can wrap up and get out in fresh air which we love.

And am never sad in winter infact no stress laid back and lovin life and chuft back to biking every day.

Excellent, Kath! The weather doesn't get me down much. It's when I look back on it I realise it hasn't been very inspiring. When the sun comes out, I down tools and head straight outside if I can. We love it when we can open the French windows in the morning and leave them open all day. We live outside when the weather is good! It generally has a mild sunny micro-climate here - I just wish it would buck up a bit!

Thats great Melchi and if it does rain we have all the right waterproof gear and just go for it.

Even got the cycle waterproofs if rain comes on when we are further from home.

Its a lovely sunny morning here I am sitting in conservatory listening to the wonderful birdsong from the birds chirping.

Already been in my greenhouse.

Got some indoor chores to do then get out on my bike later somewhere.
