Blue Sky and frosty morning

By Scotkat

Today you could say a perfect day as we have not had many frosty mornings.

Blue sky and sunshine all the way.

I get the sun in my back garden all day till it moves to front of house in the evening.

It’s such a pleasure as all my orchids and fuchsias are now getting nice bright day light.

I have already been out my long daily walk.

Ground is hard can do nothing in garden .

Greenhouse doors are frozen solid.

Indoor chores all done.

Now away to feed my Orchids.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Starting to get birds back in garden and here. The birdsong again to.

Yes! I noticed a change in the birdsong too Kath...early days yet, but they seem to be getting lively!. Absolutely beautiful here too, and as I definitely overdid it yesterday, I'm not bothered that I can't get tow work out there for the frost! Just enjoyed looking out at the sunshine! My clematis came today, so I'll get them in next week. :) just been to Dobbies and got a new waterproof gardening coat for the new season! :)

Hi Kath, we have no frost here, but the garden is sodden, it started out a bit grey this morning, but is bright and sunny now, {until tomorrow}, Derek.

Garden soaked here too, so not much work able to be done outside, if I don't want to damage the soil structure, but the sun is shining, birds are singing, such a change. If only it would last over the weekend...ah, if only...
I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Lovely to read about little signs of spring and blue skies again.

You may have had frost, Scotkat, but down here we've hardly seen a frost this winter - most unusual! What we have had is rain - in monsoon amounts it seems! I shouldn't complain really as in the south-west of the UK they have had weeks & weeks of rain & many places are under water.

It's thanks to the south-west winds that we have had such a mild winter so far.

Lots of Daffs about to open during the coming week on my balcony! :-))
