Lavender Biscuits just out of oven

By Scotkat

You can use your own lavender flowers if you have dried them.

But I took lavender home from Dubia.

So I decided to make Mary Berry lavender biscuits.

Has anyone else baked or cooked with lavender?

I don't like the smell of lavender, so not sure I'd like the taste. Do it taste like it smells?

Interesting! I used to love Violet sweets when I was in school but no, I never tasted Lavender in food before and didn't even realise that one could enjoy it in biscuits...hmmm!

Never tried these biscuits but would love to do so.

Former neighbour had a lavender hedge and kept me in stock but the following neighbours removed the lot.

Nasturtium and roses are often used in cooking. Anyone tried these? I have tried the former in a sandwich. It's an acquired taste!
