Glamis Walled Garden As A Visitor Today

By Scotkat

As everyone knows I strained back muscle and been in so much pain.

I am getting better but do not want to over do it.

So this morning I popped down to have my morning cuppy.

And it was a real pleasure and we are all so happier .

A lot to be happening.

But I was the visitor with my camera today and just before I left took some quality time with my fuchsias .

I have now got a lot of fuchsia rooted cuttings growing up there.

And I was tying the standard whips to their canes to keep them straight.

I am so thrilled that I have got think 6 whips now on the go and still more to repot.

They are growing ever so well in the glasshouse .

I have now got the whips separated and on the sand bench ,I ment to take a photo and forgot.

If I manage to go back on Thursday I shall as I am intending taking up more fuchsia cuttings for them.

I can relax but its not so easy to do when you know its worse to over do it and back to square 1 in pain.

I do feel for you Kath, its horrible when you want to do something and know you are hampered by aches and pains, I'm much the same with my knee, do a bit at a time very carefully so as not to twist it, got my appointment for the preop-tests on Sept 11th so at least I'm moving forwards, still not heard about my eye op yet though, going to Paris on Sept 14th with my daughter for a few days so will be seeing all the sights through a blur, lol........

Hope you are feeling better Kath, i am on the last part of getting the garden straight at long last ,just waiting for the paving slabs to be laid then i can hopefully get planting!.
The only thing is i was away when they built the new beds and they have done them straight instead of curved like i wanted so i'm going to have to soften them with planting, not sure yet how this will be done!.
Make sure you rest plenty xx
