Glad to hear they came Kath. I am sitting watching the tennis with the fire on and my nose is just a continual dribble! Horrid summer head cold! I was freezing cold at the castle...but the scones were very good today! Enjoy the rest of your day! Xx

A summer cold is not good at least you did not have it last week.

Hopefully I am able to take friend there tomorrow afternoon, maybe I can taste a scone then.

Maybe the chef should send up some scones to us in walle d garden :)

Winds getting up now as well Karen.

But at least all will get watered.

Yes, indeed you looked to be in pain! But Letty is right, anti-inflammatories do help....and help with the pain as well. For myself, I find the best treatment for a bad head cold is a good single malt!

I cant take whisky and hate the smell Karen.

Yup, lots of people feel that way, my OH included, and I rarely take it myself, but when I feel like this, it is a good medicine!

Excellent roses Kath! I am just looking at climbers...yellow. It here is a beautiful one called Chris! Think we should have that in the walled garden...perhaps on the outside south facing wall!

May I join in? I have had trouble with my back too Kath. It is pushing the lawn mower up hill that does it. I am going for acupuncture this is fantastic. I have a touch of sciatica. I had a friend staying with me who suggested it, but I was a bit unsure. I have to say it is pain free and it works.
Love the roses. :0)
