White Lupin Seed Pods

By Scotkat

Thank you received white lupin seed pods today from Paul for our Community garden project.

I have left the seeds pods in the greenhouse to dry out and open.

Once they open I shall sow the seeds.

And I shall grow on till small seedlings then take the seedlings down to our bottle greenhouse to grow on .

Till they are big enough ready to plant out into our community garden .

I am sure they will grow well for us DA.

As most Lupins nowadays are hybrids surely they won't come true from seed. They are lovely plants no matter what their colour - unless you want them for a planting scheme! Lupins were among the first plants I ever grew as a boy starting out on gardening & I was, still am, thrilled to see them bloom!

We want Lupin plants growing in our back border of the community garden Balcony.

So hope they do grew and perform for us.
