Wall Baskets for front of house

By Scotkat

Just replanted my half wall baskets with each with .

Viola Rebbeca and Columbis .

Calibrachoo Can Can Apricot

And Diassicca .

Our local garden centre had an array on lovely plants.

I only went for fungacide for my poorly Mahonia but could not resist some plants to freshen up my wall planters.

They are all planted up and shall leave them in greenhouse till mid June to fill out and for free of frost.

I have planters on decking railing which I may replant with apline plants.

When baskets are all planted I shall post a photo to share with you all.

Very nice your basket looks, too, Scotkat! :-))

I planted up half of my hanging baskets (6) a couple of days ago. I now have the other half to plant up. I got some more plants today to finish off the job!

I've also planted up 6 of my 9 clay flowerpots on the balcony railings, again I've got some more plants to finish doing them!

Thankyou Balcony I have got the plants all planted in half baskets now but for now that are still behind glass as they would get battered by the wind.

Finished planting up the last clay pot & the other 3 baskets & putting the left over plants in the flower troughs. Now to wait for them all to flower!

Well May isn't going to end on a warm note! A few days ago one of the forecasters said he had to look at the calendar to assure himself we were actually in May & not September!!! Well after saying during April that it was more like August it's not surprising that September like weather put in an appearance! LOL!

June not much better either wish it would warm up.

I agree! The weather forecaster on TV on Friday said we are having April's weather in June!

It's been raining lightly here for a few hours - just like it did on the last Bank Holiday Monday in May!

Balcony how do you like my wall baskets now for rcolour?

12 Jun, 2011

They look very colourful! You should have some lovely baskets all summer.

Mine are beginning to fill out a little now but I started with very small, plug plants. I used Busy Lizzies & Lobelia with a Geranium in the centre of each one for height. Not really worthwhile posting any photos till they get a bit bigger.

Balcony I so wish I had planted also the sides of the baskets.
