Wonderful.... good to know that you are a good Christian who celebrates Christmas properly. So many people seem to have forgotten what it is all about, it seems.. Blessings on you.

40ft!!! We'll be getting ours soon - a mere 5 ft for us. We have a local forest where they are grown and sold, I love the smell of a real Christmas tree.

Hmmmm - Russian vine? I had to spend two years eradicating this from a small patch of a garden in a previous home where it had become pretty much the sole occupant- not fond of it - I guess its different if you've a lot of space....If its not Russian Vine of course, the hairs on the back of my neck can lie down again!

wow that is amazing Reg - and i love viewing your pictures - have you seen how many i have on my account? - and they are not nearly as beautiful as some of yours! i think that is what this site is all about! i also love the rose pic's too, what beautiful colours you have, i have just been buying some roses myself, not grown them before this year - so i know who to come to if i need advice!

It's C.orientalis, might be a named variety called 'Bill Mckenzie'. i've got this and it's VERY vigorous! - cut down to the ground in early spring, it grew about 10 feet during the summer.
