A new start

Encouraged by the super gardens shown by fellow members. I have had to start tiidying up my own
This is the result in front of house, none of these stones were visible, old foliage was squashed and dirty. The shrubs were unpruned. I also removed all the Duckweed from my pond with a rake and a sieve and finally squirting water from the hose to wash it over the edge
I hope to buy some Goldfish to start again.
I gave up the pond after the third lot of fish were taken by the Heron.
But joining this Web Site has encouraged me to clear the decks and start again. Not the best time to do it as there are limits to what brings colour at this season. I wil rely on shrubs till the Spring..

Well done - I bet you are pleased with your achievements! I always feel better when I've tidied up, especially when i've cut the lawn edges for some reason.

Cutting the lawn edges is like putting a full stop at the end of a sentence isnt it!! I like doing it too.
Poaannua, your front garden looks lovely and so does your house. I would love a rummage in those borders - i would have a lovely day!!

Thanks for your comments, and the reminder to mow the lawns, let alone cut the edges, it has rained so much the lawn is a Moss bed, lovely to walk on with bare feet.

It's good that looking at this site has inspired you, but take care. Relax and enjoy your garden. It's well established and looks like it has lots of planta.
