Today I took delivery of some long awaited Chrysanthemums, 6 each of early, mid & late flowering to give me a long season of cut flowers. Potted up some herbs this afternoon, coriander, rosemary, chives, garlic, parsley.
Yesterdays post brought some exciting plants from QVC; Japanese Roses. I had never seen these before, they are an annual plant with the look of roses. The plug plants looked really healthy & potted up a treat.
Has anyone grown these before? They just looked gorgeous so I am looking forward to seeing them in flower.

I am still waiting for more little boxes including some 'Japanese Roses' - Lisianthus. We will have to compare notes. Mine are supposed to be a mixture of purple, white and purple/white. Don't know if they come in other colours.

Saw the Japanese roses advertised on QVC, they went like hot-cakes. I haven't come across them before. It will be interesting to see what conclusions you come to when you compare notes.
