Impromptu garden centre visit.

Needed some seed trays & pots so I nipped to my favourite local garden centre; wow loads of lovely new plant stock in since last week when I was there. Had to indulge; bought a standard Fuchsia starter plant, never done a standard before so that should be interesting. Some chilli & pepper plug plants & a couple of other nice plants. Plus a new toy; a daisy grubber. When I got home I tried it out on the front lawn & ended up with a trug full of dandelion & daisy roots. Very satisfying, I think that will get a lot of use. Quite a productive hour or two!

It does sound like you enjoyed yourself. I haven't been to a garden center yet but when I do I will have to bring just a certain amount of cash with me so that I don't go crazy :)

Ah! What therapy! A bit like my wander around our local market yesterday. I noticed that the two plant stalls were looking a lot more colourful with several bedding plants. Hopefully, when I go around tomorrow, I might just get some Alpines as I have just cleared a load of dead plants from my rockery.

Like mike, I'll have to keep my hands in my pockets!

Just had to nip back again this morning before going to work because i spotted a gorgeous white clematis "Avalanche" yesterday & didn't get it because I thought I hadnt got anywhere to put it; low & behold I noticed a nice gap in the front garden so I went to get it today. It's loaded with buds & I will take a photo as soon as I get it planted.
