lol ! It's the Water Babies :D

Ever so slightly,Julia..I had to go to the ladies to wring my dress out..then obviously had to put it on again,wet through ! just glad I had my little cardi with me,to help soak up the water,,and cover up :o)

The grin was us, laughing at each other,Pam..it was still about 80 degrees ,so not chattering teeth :o) we had dried out in the next half an hour :o)

Ha Ha,Hywel..Charles Kingsley didn't have this in mind,when he wrote the book,did he? It could have been a different story altogether :o) x

I love it, my daughter and I look like that on lots of our last trip to Paris pics, it rained every day but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves..

What you see,is what you get with us two,Sue..good to laugh at ourselves sometimes..and it seems to be the same for you and your daughter :o) xx

Phew! Here sunday you'd have got hypothermia !!!

Ha ha,Amy..We also thought we were well prepared,as the info said to expect changing conditions up there,so we had our shower proof Cagoules with us..note,I said showerproof,which were about as much good as a Chocolate Teapot! They made it worse,as the deluge just ran off them on to our clothes :o) x

We didn't find it too cold on Sunday,at Tatton Park,Pam..as we had to stay under cover most of the time,but we were starting to feel a bit chilly,by !pm,as we were so wet,and hungry too,so we left ..we stuck it out for about 3 hours,so it was long enough by then..

We went to a classic car show, managed to see all we wanted before the deluge.....skys black now ?

At least we all made the effort to go,Pam..better than being stuck in the house,i think ..
