He is adorable . good job Gillian:) I had one of these guys sit outside my bedroom window for years when I was a kid, we were almost like friends. I miss him:(lol

I just saw your question now Lori sorry. I'm in Petawawa. Its west of Ottawa. My husband is in the military, so we're on the base. But I was born and raised in Ottawa East.

I love the wine red stems Lori. And yes, does it ever love the shade,thank goodness cause this front area gets barely no sun. Thank you Marguerite for the comment, the leaves are what makes this plant lovely, I'm not a big fan of the flower.

I cant find forget me nots anywhere around my little town:( I'll keep looking though. when is the best time to plant them? Should I buy them buy plant or seed?
