Well, first of all, I thought I had accidently deleted my photos of the hanging baskets I have done so far, but somehow, they were on the camera this morning, so here they are
Each of these two contain:
1 Trailing fuchsia,
1 Ivy Geranium
1 Spellbound Bizzy Lizzie
2 Lobelias
1 Ivy
5 Double Deluxe Impatiens
I also mixed in two slow release Micacle Gro fertilizer pellets and water storage tablets, into the compost
The Patio Bag
The patio Bag is planted out with 1 Fuchsia Thalia and 10 Impatiens Double Deluxe. This is a handy container, as it can be moved around and used to fill in any small spaces.
I still have three more baskets to do, but am waiting for some more trailers to arrive. The Thalia is a very deep red flowered and leafed variety. I am thinking of using the third basket for trailing tomatoes, like Tom Thumb, or whatever else may be going on the market.
I have also sown some Poppies into a mini plug greenhouse and onto the kitchen window sill. The same with some cut and come again salad leave. I put some water storage crystals in the base.
Still no visitors to the nest box, but I don’t seem to be alone. My friend Karen has told me that her mother hasn’t had any residents in her boxes this year and she has several around her garden.
This Cotoneaster has suddenly come out in bloom and I have never seen so many floweres on it.
Clematis, Montana Marjorie, bought for 50p, last year off a charity stall on .the local market The flowers are about 2” across.

Hi Spritz
Yep. I'm looking forward to the baskets at full throttle a little later. I hope they turn out good as I have entered them all into a competition in July, but I am still waiting for some plants to arrive. Been waiting nearly a month for them

I imagine your baskets will look very colourful when they have had time to settle in and bloom. Post another pic in a few weeks.

Well, I had the plants arrive for two more of the baskets today, so we'll have them up soon. I also bought a couple of tomato plants suitable for baskets, so will try those out too. Then, it'll be the turn of the pouches along the fence..
I'll be posting more piccies, don't you worry, Pasuki

I like Marjorie! - a great bargain, Ken. I have quite a few montanas but not that one! I shall look foward to seeing your photos of the baskets full out later in the year!
