Just been to Lidl, they are selling small pots of bulbs for 57 pence each, very fresh and healthy. They have Crocuses, Daffos, tulips and grape something bulbs. Was talking to the cashier, who asked me if I like gardening, I said it is my way to a happy life, he got excited because he loves gardening too, he got carried away telling me about his garden, the customer behind me was getting a bit fedup, I became her friend in the end, and the cashier’s too. He is as crazy as me. Lol.

What a bargain, Michaella. How much would we have paid back in September for the pots, bulbs and fibre/compost to produce our own?
Our nearest Lidl isn't very close, but I shall make a point of calling in on my way to visit my Mother next week. She has two concrete pots that are crying out for some bulbs outside her front door. I hope they will have some left. :o)

I'll have to look in Lidl here to see what I can find. It's very unusual to have any sort of conversation with checkout people so you were lucky.

I am so sorry to have to say Xela, they probably would not have any left by then, too cheap, people usually snap their plants up, because they are so cheap, and that goes for Aldi too. But! from now on they will keep having plants in, if you have a look on their website, maybe you could have a look at their current specials they have.

I am lucky Jacque, but I do not shop at Aldi and Lidl often enough, but will do now, mainly for the plants and the large apple juice cartons as my daughters drink them like tape water. I do keep an eye on both shops online, to see what plants they will have. Wish Morrisons would do the same online as I do buy a lot of there plants.

I shall have a look on their site before I set out, Michaella. If they don't have bulbs all being well there will be something suitable for my Mother's pots. :-)
