On the coast

Monday morn’ I’m on the coast
the thing I love to do the most.
The waving sea
is greeting me
and crashes on the shore,
foaming white, for ever more,
back and forth.
So I head North;
the sand is dark,
I see the mark
where the tide has been.
Then on, I am so keen:
I want to see the end
of this big sandy land.
Coming there I take a rest,
my back towards the West
staring at the Coral Sea:
this is a lovely place to be!

Thank you all for your kind comments. Yes, temps were 29 there yesterday morning. It is always a little cooler than inland, thanks to the breeze and it came from the South, so a cooler one too. You can all hop on the next plane and join me: I'll serve tea and applepie ( home made of course! ). It is a little paradise and the best bit is: you hardly see a soul there, just the occasional man and his dog.
