Lost names.

This is just a quicky in between. Mainly a question for Peter.
When hovering over a picture I cannot see the title anymore, whilst before I could. Not everyone gives their photo a title, but with the ones who did I could always see what it was before clicking on the thumbnails and then arriving at the larger version. Have you changed anything or is it me?
Then I just want to tell all the GOY friends I am going to be away for 3 weeks after Friday. Going to visit my mum in Holland who will turn 90! So don’t worry if you miss me.
Then our weather. It is officially SPRING time here and the last few days I have noticed lots of changes in the garden with new leaves popping up everywhere, shrubs flowering suddenly and birds being more active than usual. I’ve seen the first gecko’s again, as it is warming up now. Last few days we’ve had 29 and 30C which is more like it. Glad I can say goodbye to the winter!
Cheerio, Marguerite.

Have a nice holiday Marquerite. Will miss you! I wish it was spring here instead of going into fall. I would'nt feel so much that way if we had been having a decent summer! Enjoy your Mum!

Best to you,

Have a great time with your Mum. We too will be in Holland at the end of next week. We are teaching for two days but also hope to combine it with a visit to some nice gardens somewhere. We will be in the village of Baak which is not far from Apeldoorn. Do you know any nice gardens around there?

Have a nice time in Holland although you will probably feel it's winter again there! 18 - 19deg there today although it has been warmer lately. I always look because my daughter lives there and we spend endless phone calls discussing what is flowering in our respective gardens.

Wow! I didn't expect all those comments. Thank you all for the good wishes and yes, I will take my camera. It is always the extension of my hand, lol. Hope it won't be too windy or too wet, or else I will produce the same pictures as you people in the UK. But my mum's always been lucky, in all those years it only rained a couple of times on her brithday, so expect to get fine second half of September you people in Europe.
Yes, have stocked up on some warmer clothes, well brollies they will have. Some gardens near Apeldoorn? I'd head for the Veluwe with the autumn colours coming in it should be beautiful. Just go to the local tourist information and they will have all the brochures for you. I haven't been for 6 years and ages since I was in that area, so I really don't know much, sorry Chrispook.
Glad the names are back, thanks Peter!
Cheerio for now, Marguerite.
