On the beach.

The sand is wide
with low tide;
the beach
can reach
a long way.
Dogs will play
I run my hand
on the warm sand
it feels so good
I’m in the mood.
The wind is balm
the sea is calm.
The sun is high
in the sky
the plane above
a sight I love.
The river at the end,
just around the bend
hosts crocs and fish
I do not wish
to meet.
Instead I greet
the birds at sea
and they like me.
Then I turn around
and hear the sound
a screetching bird
is heard.
Palms sway
my way
pleasing my eyes
and I realise
I am in paradise.

LOL, I wrote peom. A poem is a poem but a peom is a REAL GOOD poem :)

Thank you so much for your appreciation and I have to smile about Mikec's one. I love writing poems and most are about nature, the world around me.
I will put some beach pics here too, so you can see what I mean. I will put some more up another time. I am really flattered by so many members reading it.

Sorry I got to read your poem a bit late, but it's wonderful. As I was reading it I feelt as if I was actually on that beech, and it did feel like paradise. I read it a few times. I enjoyed it : )
