About me

I live in Lancashire with my boyfriend and my lively Border x Patterdale terrier, Roxie. Have a small patio garden which gets the summer sun from 11am until late but which is partially shaded due to adjoining properties.

I love just pottering about and sitting and chilling in my garden with a good book and a glass of vino. My boyfriend isn't really a keen gardner but he's glad it keeps me happy and quiet! He's learning to appreciate how nice the patio is looking.

Keen to learn more about the plants I pick up from local sellers at car boots/fairs. I've got an eclectic collection, tending to get it if it catches my eye as well as some old faves. My well-travelled friend is my 25+ year old Cactus, "Charlie" who I've had since he was a cutting when I was about 11 years old.

I'm always on the lookout for bargain pots at boot sales etc. which have weathered the test of time to add to my collection ....

I live very close to the City Centre but never too far away from some lovely parks which are being regenerated etc. which are nice to take Roxie on longs walks to.
