Here is the other trough, a mirror image of the other 1 as much as nature permits! I chose the original photo because it was a better picture & didn’t feature bird poop as this 1 does!
It will now be obvious to everyone that I have a ‘symmetrical obsession’! I always have to plant things in this way, I realise it drives some people insane (my partner for 1 who complains bitterly because his tubs end up ‘left & right handed’ as he calls it!)
Spritzhenry, the reason I do my neighbours garden is because they pay me well for doing it (obvious reason!) & they hate gardening & as it’s their 2nd home they’re not around to do it themselves! I’m not complaining….....

Why not try and have just one plant different in the two containers and see if your partner notices? Or would it keep you awake at night, knowing they weren't the same?
