I am 73 years old and enjoy gardening. I try to grow something new every year. I have lots of pots and grow potatoes in dustbins.

I haven't got an enormous garden and it's mainly flowers and shrubs, but manage my potatoes, some tomatoes and a prolific blueberry bush, 4 ballerina apple trees and 1 family apple.

Well, fast forward 8 years. I am now 81. Husband died 4 years ago. My garden keeps me going. Although it is the last day of October, there is still a lot of colour in the garden. Clematis still in flower and roses & geraniums. A Nicotiana appeared by itself and is huge. I will take some more pictures and post them.
