Beautiful Lori....great colours. I had a go with pastels a few years ago and someone told me to spray it with hairspray when finished to seal it.

It looks like the water is already flowing KK. Is it from a natural spring or the pools you made? Sounds like you'll have to move the broom..that'll do for me....Cat or Gilli when we come and visit. I really love the backdrop to your place ...all the conifers and woodland areas....you must have great birdlife there.

Ha...ha KK.....I was expecting you to tell us in which of your many gardens it is located....have you just bought it....has it been there a long time....what colour flower bracts etc....you know the usual :o) I do like it, I have three young ones I planted last year....Forest Flame...they'll be pretty in Spring.

Sir KK must be from the river at Llanrwst .....yes.....I had a look on Google earth and there were no more Llans in Conwy! Yes..I read your comments and agreed...but you asked me about other trees of which I left a small selection........

I'm pleased to be living in the region I do as far as the road and traffic problem goes.......we have the wonderful Humber Bridge although still tolled, it sets us free the east side of the M1. When we lived away we would travel back to the Uk regularly often by car driving up through Spain on the Autopista...tolled again, but marvellous roads....road markings...surfaces...easy exits and entrances, beautiful center carriageways of flowering oleanders and mimosas....in and out of Barcelona with ease and still the same travel experience through France. Only when we exited the ferry at Dover and started the journey North were we met with road works..closed lanes...hold ups..and horrendous driving by the foreign lorry drivers. We paid a yearly local tax which was less than half of the road tax here but road conditions were far superior.
