15 minutes in the life of a Bee !

This little fellow was so busy in my garden yesterday, I think he was stunned by the warm sunshine as he couldn’t choose where to land and collect pollen!
Tum-te-tum….......can’t believe I’ve been picked to collect the pollen, the Queen must be in a good mood today! Yellow….my favourite colour….mind you now I’m out, I want a good look round!
Eye…eye she may be fluttering her eyelashes, but I’m not looking
Now this is beautiful, but too much hard work trying to get the pollen out of here!
These are looking too prim and proper, don’t want to disturb their sunny faces.
Well, what’s down here…......ah Rhubarb…pretty colour but not for a Bee like me
Flowering Currant…....to far away from home, I’d better hurry back, she’ll be stomping one of her feet!
A quick fly past the Prunus, no time to stop now!
Ah….back to the Tulip for rich pickings…let me fill every pocket with gold dust, she’ll think I’ve been so busy,
Then on to the Artemisia for a quick drink, then home!

Fantastic photos Janey, and a lovely entertaining story to go with them ! Particularly like the one of him in the tulip..certainly seems to be gathering the pollen as quickly as he can ! A deadline to meet surely !

hi janey the design of a bee means it cant fly, its wings are to short and it's body is way to big . . . . . thankfully nobody has told the bee.
