I am a foster carer and every child I have looked after has had the choice to paint their name on a large pepple they have chosen from a trip to the seaside. Together we find a place in my garden for it to lay. They love finding the numorous names scattered! Next year my veg will be labelled this way! A brilliant extension of such a simple idea, also giving me the chance with a paint brush!! So looking forward to it. THANKS

lots of hard work there, looks like our plot when we started but its worth it in the end

the trouble is you cant wait for things to grow,or is that just me being impatient, all looks really good.

Looks a lovely sunny spot - perfect for marigolds

I have been collecting seeds from my dahlias today. I did the same last year and was able to give my sons lots of plants. I love these red ones you have.

Looks Great & its Origanal ;)

I've got the King and Queen as well - we call them Jack and Vera!! I've got bedding plants in them at the moment and then change that for winter flowering pansies.

25 years of weeds - good job you are one Helofadigger!!!!!

its so nice to pik your own veggies.

I thought allotments were in short supply.
I grew Japanese onions once I remember. They were very nice.

Wow, you have taken on a lot - but it sounds as though you really enjoy all the work. The new plot looks to be in a good location, there are few things more dishearening than an abandoned allotment - especially when there are some of us who cant get hold of one!

The onions look lovely - I bet thay make a lovely salad.

I like chips that smell of nasty oil, hmmmmmmmmm maybe thats why I'm over weight.....lol
