A plot for a James Bond movie.

For a considerable time three avid ‘Grows on You’ secret gardening agents have been working independently under cover on various missions. Yesterday, 17th June 2008, they were set their ultimate task by ‘M’ from their H.Q. in the West country.
The agents whose names can now be revealed courtesy of the freedom of information act, successfully completed their mission, and have now gone into hiding somewhere in the depths of the West country.
The three agents can now be revealed as Spritzhenry, Grenville and Alan, have spent weeks planning their mission in order to meet and collaborate for the very first time. The details of their task could not be published before today in case of espionage from other G.O.Y agents who might wish to emulate their plans and ruin the secret operation.
The details of their task are as follows:
TO MEET FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME AT SANDERS GARDEN WORLD, GARDEN CENTRE IN SOMERSET.
Other details of the operation are:
To select plants for their individual gardens, have lunch and get to know each other socially, then return to Spritzhenry’s house to meet ‘M’ (Spritzhenry’s husband) to allow him to approve our purchases at the garden centre!
This was followed by a tour of the Spritz’s spectacular garden, and then finally we all enjoyed a superb cup of refreshing afternoon tea!
On a more serious note- It was a wonderful opportunity to meet our fellow G.O.Y members who live reasonably close to us. Thanks to Spritz and her husband for making us feel so welcome and your garden is oustandingly beautiful. We also met Henry their lovely Labrador dog.(We want to adopt him!) The weather was superb, and we all managed to purchase some lovely plants from this excellent garden centre in Somerset.
Finally to Peter and Ajay- We hope you are impressed as the G.O.Y site invites participants to make new friends through gardening. Well…. yesterday we all achieved that. Heres a toast to our new found friendships all because of Grows On You!
Best wishes,
Grenville and Alan.

Bond is that you - you swine? So you may have fooled me this time my spies knew you were planning an event in Somerset but could not pin point the location - so I had most of it flooded.Even the little ' accident ' I had planned for you didnt stop you ... curse you gardeners so determined , so resourceful , so ahhh keen ! Then the use of that beast you knew I would not risk my darling pussy with that Henry.Very clever but I know you are not alone and shall find your collaborators .. I see one who claims to have created a parking space ingenious , but if you try and use it as a landing strip for one of your flying contraptions..enough of this trivia.Shaken and stirred,Bloefeldt.

You ve rumbled me Sid as we speak ducks are in training - photos posted. There are flaws in my plan being northern ducks refuse to fly south .I do however have a southern HQ based in Bill Oddies shed - Bonkers and Oddie together we intend to turn those lovely manicured gardens into messy wildlife havens....a dastardly scheme.

Who knows- maybe one day there will be a GOY wedding! Wouldn't be any problems with the flowers!

'M' and the South West gardeners mafia will ensure that all dastardly plans are scuppered!

Having been incommunicado on a further classified mission since our agents met 'M' at the location in Somerset, I am now able to reveal that the previous mission is not yet complete. Plans are being drawn up for a daring foray to the depths of the dangerous terrain known as 'Bristol'. 'M' and agent 'Spritz' will liaise with agents 'Grenville' and 'Alan' to invade a well-known and not-so-secret garden hidden in the City. Mission 'trek' will be accomplished as soon as agent 'Spritz' has completed her current mission, Seriously, it was a delight to meet Grenville and Alan and to be able to show them the actual, not virtual garden. We were really quite restrained in our purchases, and although we egged each other on to 'go for it' during any hesitant moments, our shared trolley actually still had space in it at the till! Yes, we laughed a LOT and didn't stop talking! Husband and I are hoping to visit our new friends in Bristol in a few days' time - on our return home from London. And no, G&A, you can't adopt Henry!! P.S. Hope the plants 'took'.

Spritz : may I hint that you give this blog a 'like'.
There's a wonderful photo of 'M's wife with dog and Secret Agent.
There's a plot with many twists and turns.
The movie got a rave review from the critics.
How can you resist? :o)

Were the purchased plants authorised from government sources? Did you have an infinate budget like Bond himself?
Looks like you had fun.
