The hostas all look healthy Grammazoo. Those in my garden seem pretty tolerant as long as they have some shade. I just moved one and it did not flnch.

It is an absolure menace - especially when it is growing on a 45 degree stream bank... I balance myself to dig it up but so often end up on my btm to avoid falling in the stream! I suppose it must look very funny to any onlookers.

Henry 'helps' like this, too - he pinches the prunings and chews them into small pieces. That sort of help I do not need, thanks Henry!

Great combination amazing how older pieces of home ware sit so happily with plants but still need an eye for detail and this just goes so well.

I plan on doing the same thing Grammazoo. I am going to use this site as my yearly diary. I am enjoying looking at all the new life in your beds. Mine will be at this stage in a couple of weeks.
