Thanks Marguerite, I've been experimenting with glazing the peas different shades of green for fun, they all come out of the kiln looking different! Thanks also for your other nice comments! I love looking at your wonderful photos from the other side of the world. If you can help me with my question in your inbox about the Ginger that would be great!

No, Blodyn, we don't have them YET .... however we did have some information on them from BBC Cornwall and a newsletter and photo from a gardening club locally. I gather the Ghost Slug sucks in worms like spaghetti - nice!!
I understand the Museum of Wales has an information page about them and you can log on to their site and read all about them if anybody wants to know more.

Thanks everyone! He is a super boy! He can't cut grass yet but he can eat anything you grow in your vegetable plot so he is pretty handy to have!

What a fabulous honour Andrew! Well done! Seeing you are not allowed to take photos, wouldn't you think they would give you a 'CD of your day with some nice shots of the garden at BP'. I'd happily spend some of my tax on that for you!!

Ha! Yes, Irish .... he is very good at 'seeing' a good photo and taking it. He is also growing his own strawberries which don't look too happy at present - so he just buys a punnet from a local grower every day on the way home from school - some he eats, some he puts under his strawberry plants!!!

Hello Lori!
I form all sorts of things! I'm a potter so I sort of 'go with the flow' and the 'peas in a pod' are something which most people love. I make figures, bowls, all sorts of ideas .... just depends how I feel really! I'm glad you like them. Thank you! Gloriosa.

I'm really not sure Gillian as I don't know how to fold a ribbon rose. However, you fold the Phormium Leaf from the base upwards to the tip of the stem folding and turning the leaf as you go to form the 'rose' shape. Quite hard to explain but however you fold it and turn it you tend to end up with a flower like shape .... so that will do really! You can either turn the tip of the leaf in to the design or pin it with a pearl pin or something else a bit more funky! Good luck .... Gloriosa!

Yes!! They certainly don't look much like sweetpeas from a distance! I used to live in Wem in Shropshire and they had a fabulous Sweetpea show every year the scent in the town hall was overhwhelming - just lovely!!

Hello Marguerite - I love you photo! I've just planted some Gingers in my hot pool house here in the UK. It is about 80 deg C humidity in there and averages around 27 deg C most of the time, day and night. Do you think they will 'flower'? How long do they take from tuber to flowering do you know? They are now about 120cms tall grown from tuber this year. Any help well received! Many thanks Gloriosa.

Ah Yes Lori! I have all their CD's and saw them at the Lowry in Manchester ...unfortunately we missed them in Iceland. We seemed to be behind their tour by a few days! However, we are going to try to make it to see them in Bournemouth in November this year. Hoppipola is one of my favourite pieces of music!!
Thanks for your lovely comments!

Hello! They are, aren't they? I'm desperately trying to remember what they are called too! I bought them on ebay actually! It might be worth searching 'tulip bulbs' on ebay in the autumn and see if you can find them. I did keep a 'garden folder' but gave it to the people who bought our house (where the tulips were planted) ....if I can remember...I'm PM you!
