new pic of the garden

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments – the community garden is growing at a pace now – we just need a bit more sunshine. Everything remained ok (no plants gone missing!!) and even had a few children out with their parents(shock!!!) watering the garden. Everyone seems quite keen at the moment and i would like to keep that up – I’m going to a Residents meeting tonight and trying to get some funding so the kids can make some things for the garden over the summer. I suggested the mini-scarecrows and the flower presses to the play leader and she also suggested making some more wind things. Any other ideas greatfully received!

What a great project; really community minded and well done on being the one to get it all started.

You need to chat with Scotkat, as she has her children's gardening club and you could swap ideas. How about that for an idea? ;-)
