What shall I choose?

I wanted to visit the garden centre to spent my vouchers but the bad weather has caused lots of potholes in the roads so I decided to walk instead of going on my trike. It’s not far, just outside the village, under a mile away.

Now all I need is fine weather so that I can begin to tidy up the garden and find a spot for my new plants :)

Gee , you must have spend those vouchers dozens of times , or does someone keep supplying you with more ...LOL... you have some smashing buys here , the Sarbaria sem is new to me .I will have to look that up .... How ever did you manage to carry all those home ?

With difficulty, Amy! In fact I cheated and dropped them off at my daughters, who brought them round to me later in the day. They live about halfway between me and the garden centre :)

I must admit also that I always ask for vouchers for Christmas/birthdays so usually have some (I have one left at the moment). I also exchange with people who get garden vouchers and don't want them :)

Gee I`m like you and love to have vouchers for present`s, I think it`s grand to be able to choose and not feel guilty about the cost. You`ve got the right idea about getting them home as well ,lol, the little robin must have been happy with your choice.......

i was thinking the same as amy wandering how you got them home, you spent your vouchers well, now all you need is a few dry days, lots of mole holes there...:o)

The sorbaria sem looks a lovely shrub. Are you going back to the mole verge on your trike to collect some 'seed compost'? We don't get many moles up here - they get too many headaches hitting the flints in the ground!

I got my freeby primrose basket today, as well, Gee! They had another delivery in. I've just posted a photo of mine - I chose pink frilly ones.

I have Sorbaria 'Sem' - you'll like it. It has bronzey young leaves and white flowers in the summer. Mine was a present from a friend to remember my mum by.

I don't need to go back to the mole hills, Wagger, Mr Mole visits my garden regularly, especially after I have levelled all the paving slabs up again :(

Glad you managed to collect your freebie too, Spritz. There was a good selection when I went. Looking forward to planting my Sorbaria - I checked it out on Google when I got home and it does look good :)

Oh Gee what a treat, after the initial disappointment. Its lovely having a spending spree on plants and you have bought some which will give lasting pleasure, so what great value. Not like shopping for clothes, where the bit of pleasure (I don't feel it myself) doesn't last long. It will be interesting to see what the 'unknown' turns out like.
Last time I was at our local G.C. the bird song was loud and incessant and I remarked to my husband that I hated the idea of 'piped' birdsong, having been to a place where thats what they had. Anyway, before long I saw 2 robins who were the songsters. A real treat.
