For Jacque and TT (not sure which section it will fit!!)

Reflections on a flood!

Verse inspired by the Hippopotamus song by Donald Swann and Michael Flanders, I loved it as a child :)

Well done, Holly. When I go out into the garden I have to decide whether to squelch along the edge of the grass or risk walking along the path and slipping base over apex! Never mind, only a few more months and it will be spring :)

i know what you mean...lol...... my lawn is like a bog..... i squelch up it every morning to feed the birds.....

Poor you, Milky, I'm the world's worst singer. Out of a class of 30 girls I was the only one not chosen for the school choir!! Everybody now.....Aaaah :)

Me too Gee! After singing in a group chorus at school, I was asked to stop singing while the others carried on. The teacher said 'that's better'..........LOL
Great poem, had me singing along- just as well I'm alone!
