No wonder you are busy Gee. Hope all goes well, it will be a lovely day knowing that you have put so much into it, enjoy, if you can, even though you may be tired. Look forward to some nice pics later on.

Enjoy! I could eat the hat.

All the hard work will be worth it in the long-run .
Just try and enjoy the whole thing , preparation and all .

Hope you are managing just to get a few minutes of ''me time'' everyday.
All the best for the day x

Frantic times for you then Gee, I`m pleased you are ok, I had missed your wonderful blogs and wondered what you were up to, I always struggle with the shoes for special occasions, (don`t do hats, lol) I hope everything goes well for all of you.
You might not have had a lot of spare time but still produced a great blog with your usual lovely pics and captions...

That was a lovely blog and made me giggle, especially that expression of your dog watching into your eyes and their sleeping room. Lol.
Definitely a nice time for all, in spite of the lack of time. Nice shoes :) Let you dance in them for the whole night :)

It's nice to know you're all right. I was getting worried about you lol.
Sometimes there are more important things than GoY.
My good wishes to you and the happy couple, for the wedding. I hope it all goes well :o)
I've taken a few short breaks from GoY myself during the summer. I can't keep up with it these days.
Anyway it's nice to hear from you :o) x

Good luck with those decorations and thank you for taking time out to do the blog!

Congratulations to the happy couple and do remember not to overdo it as you will want to enjoy the day too. A tip I found useful is to do all the greenery in oasis, days before they are needed and just pop the flowers in nearer the time. Remember to condition both so that they stay fresh for you. Depending on the colour of flowers you can eke out the pennies by using green with gold foliage for yellow or white flowers and green and pink/red/ bronze foliage for most colour flowers. We'll all be keeping our fingers crossed for the sun to shine on the day.

Love the blog, your shoes and hat, I hope you find a super middle bit soon! busy time ahead but lovely to be trusted with the flowers - super advice from Scotsgran, Gypsophilia is a great filler too and dainty.
What caring pets you have there showing you how to chill
very best wishes for "the" day may everything run smoothly and to plan for you :o)

Really enjoyed your blog & your photos. Don't overdo things ..... Remember to take time out for yourself, or you will be exhausted by the time the big day comes. Your pets are lovely & the cake looks yummy.

fantastic blog and i hope you all enjoy the wedding:))))

Cake looks very yummy. Those dogs GEE! chilling while mum rushes round doing everything with just 2 hands. Quite a hattie hat GEE. The brides mum sometimes has a freak out about the outfit, best of luck with 'hunt the frock'. I only like frock hunting when NOT for a wedding. Too much 'does my everything look good in this'? Thanks for the blog from the expert fingers of the maestro.

I hope this good spell of weather will be around on your daughter's wedding day and also hope that you all have a wonderful time.

Really enjoyed your blog :-))

Thanks to you all for your helpful advice and good wishes. Gypsophilla was brillliant, thanks Neellan. Dorjac, I opted for a trouser suit in the end, easier and more comfortable than a frock!

I have just uploaded a wedding blog. Now I have to get down to putting the garden to bed for the winter. It is a tangled (and wet) mess at the moment. Empty water butts filled within a hour we had so much rain last week. Fortunately Saturday was like a summer day :)
