Usually, they fall over at a certain height - but earlier this year I asked for advice on plant supports and for the clumps of Aconites I have used long twiggy pieces, which seems to be working well!

these are sometimes called faerie stool or artists conk... You can draw pictures and makes directional signs on the underside..by simply scratching the soft spongey white. underneath it is a darker layer. It is a country craft... That golden birch is huge!... sad that these fungi mean that the wood under them is dead.

wow! that is amazing! is it real? i am a floral designer have worked in the west end and seen some really unusual plants and flowers but i have never seen this before - what is it? and yes i would agree maybe you should have been a botonist! kind regards angela.
