I feel so bad for everyone that is having rain! We could use some about now. I have been trying to figure out how “The Naked Ladies” could come up thru the hard packed clay. I need to find something that will grow with them. So far nothing I’ve tried has come up to “clothe” them. It has to like shade. This spring we had too much water and the seeds I did plant rotted, I guess.
Picked some peaches today and got them in the freezer with a few more to come ,I hope ,if the Birds don’t get them. It was an old tree that was here for many years and the peaches are rather small but tasty. will be nice to have on a cold winters night.

How many peach trees do you have? If you have only one, perhaps you could invest in some bird netting, which you can use every year again? Always better than buying peaches.

Marguerite,
only one old peach tree, and tasty peaches they are.
small but nice. Froze 4 quarts so far. I will share with the birds as long as I get some.
